Being New Jersey born and raised I think it’s time that The Real Housewives of New Jersey get the respect they deserve. Sure they might, on an occasion or two, act a bit outrageous and make you wonder if there’s something strange in Jersey’s water but let’s be honest with ourselves IT IS AN AWESOME SHOW.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey are the Bill Clintons of reality TV, most of the time you don’t agree with their behavior but you still like them anyway. I mean honestly what more could you possibly want from a show than some Italian food and grown women with shorter tempers than fans at an Eagles/Giants game? Like most New Jerseyans they’re innovators and don’t just accept what the rest of the world is doing. While the rest of the world is using, “texts” they’re going with the non-traditional form “textes.” While the other housewives franchises are out to lunch eating salads and going to spin class, the Jersey women are developing dessert lines. What isn’t to love about a show that produced the single greatest quote of all reality TV?“Sometimes I see really skinny girls. They may look great but they’re not happy.
