For those of you who know me, know that Joan Rivers was a major inspiration for me, some would go as far as to say my spirit animal. Which, by the way should be all of you except the people who accidentally found yourself here after googling Ball Park “Franks” or Frank Fink.
Joan Alexandra Molinsky was not only one of the most quick-witted female comedians to grace this earth but was also one of the hardest workers, and thats what really matters in this life.
People are always amazed at how much some people accomplish by 25 but the real inspiration comes from the people who have lived through the highs and lows of life and still manage to keep pushing forward after so many years. At 81 years old Joan was commuting from New York to L.A, ONCE A WEEK. All while doing basically nightly stand-up comedy shows.You probably know Joan as your go-to guide for all things fashion but you may not know she’s a published self-help author. For everyone out there feeling lost and alone and like no one understands you, pick up a copy of her book: I hate everybody…starting with me. All of a sudden you find everything that annoys you in the world, annoys someone else too and thanks to Joan you’re no longer alone, you belong.
To the woman who inspired me to channel my natural satire and quick-wit for productivity and not pure nonsense, you will be truly missed.
