So Halloween is my favorite holiday, after Thanksgiving. Why do I love it you ask? I FREAKING LOVE HALLOWEEN COSTUMES! Seriously, making my Halloween costume is one of my favorite past times. I work hard to accurately, yet creatively represent the character I have chosen while not revealing too much skin because on the east coast hypothermia is a real thing.

I’m sorry but what? Where did this come from? First, I’m not sure when “ghost bride” came to be a halloween costume. I’ve seen Say Yes To The Dress and at an average of $10,000 for a dress, a normal bride seems scary enough to me. But they didn’t stop there, no, not only do you get to be a “ghost bride” but you get to be a “VICTORIAN ghost bride.” Not to be confused with the ghost brides from the Renaissance.

The french maid costume is as old as time. I get it, we all want to be the hot girl in Clue. Whether or not you should leave your sexy, french maid alone with your husband has been a question that has plagued women for centuries, fortunately this costume makes the answer easy. DON’T. Not only is she a sexy french maid, but she’s a man stealing maid. Phew, boy am I glad I only hired a regular french maid. My favorite part about this costume is that it was found under the “Career Costume” section, this whole time I’ve been spending on LinkedIn trying to find a fall back career and here one is, right on Party City’s website.
